The Village of  Alexandria Bay is pleased to announce its first ever "North Coast Carnival", a North Country celebration  of Caribbean, Latin and related music.  The music of steel bands - with special guest  Hawaiian Grammy award winner Tracy Thornton - will be ringing through Scenic View Park on Saturday afternoon.  Reggae music will rock the downtown area in the evening and we'll wind up with  latin Rock from Grupo pagan.  Check out our children's steel drum program, groove to a live broadcast of "The Beat Authority" with David Sommerstein, amd learn some new moves with Latin dance lessons from Piquant! and North Country Public Radio personality Todd Moe.
Kick off your shoes and join us under the palm trees!
